MY ART IS INSPIRED BY THE SOUTHWEST LANDSCAPE
- travels in California, Utah, Arizona and
my home state of Nevada. In my paintings, I am trying to capture my inner experience when being outdoors. What I feel can be awe of its beauty, peace, self-reflection, adventure, a nakedness to God, or a genuine tactile connection to my family. Being in nature renews my spirit. In my process, I search between traditional and contemporary, tranquil and energetic, and the physical and spiritual in my art.
